Citizen Portal: Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) project aim to create a comprehensive and integrated system for enhancing efficiency and effective policing at all levels and especially at the Police Station level including citizen services which are an integral part of the CCTNS project. This service of the CCTNS project is enabling Citizens to send their requests for services to Police through an online citizen service portal (over the internet) and track the status of registered service requests. Citizens will be able to access the citizen-centric services like Enquires/Information Seeking/General Service Request/Track Status etc. at the UT level depending upon the type of service request the citizen has initiated. This is an additional mode of the facility for citizen for faster response to citizen and hence illegal/unauthorized use of the facility may lead to the relevant action.
